The M-5000 looks massive and beautiful, with an all-marine-grade aluminum frame powder-coated matte black and all other panels in naturally anodized aluminum. The contrast between the aluminum and black makes for a stunning appearance.

The frame stands 22" high × 21" wide, giving the machine a commanding presence while minimizing bench top space with a depth of only 13.5". Every piece is machined in-house using the latest fabricating and CNC processes.

Testing & Cleaning Fuel Injectors Properly

A fuel injector tester must have the power and proper plumbing. The M-5000 uses a high-volume fuel pump, because you need to stress fuel injectors to see how they perform at higher RPMs.

The quality of the circuitry also matters. Because ProCharge's foundation is marine, we started with the HPDI and Optimax injectors. The HPDI fuel injector is 12 amp, 1 ohm, so testing 8 low-impedance injectors, or all 6 Optimax injectors, at one time is not an issue. Holding 80 PSI on Bosch 210s / 2200cc high-flow injectors is no problem.

A resistance test should be done before flowing on the fuel injector tester. The M-5000 has a built-in ohm meter — press one button and the display reads out the values.
